Ouch. Had my first injury in this recent work out stint. Nothing major just hurt my shoulder a bit. In the past these types of injuries just discourage me. Any tips on how to stay in it?

Lay off your shoulder for awhile and find some excercises to perform in the meantime. (Cycling?) Keep going to the gym to reinforce the habit, even if for lite workouts. Follow fitness experts and blogs on your social media accounts to get regular exposure to the lifestyle to which you aspire

What exercise were you performing? RICE method helps the best. Take some ibuprofen for micro inflammation that may have occurred.

General tip don’t lift heavy above your head, especially if holding the weight behind your head. Get similar gains from light to medium weights as long as lifting to point of exhaustion. Shoulders being the poorly designed joints that they are are very susceptible to injury, especially rotator cuff.

Yeah I think it was from overhead tricep and lat pull down. Annoying
