Our bldg finally announced facilities (except pool and gym) will open on June 3. Masks and 6ft distance required. They're also resuming tours but not barista/events - guess only the $ matters to them

I'm currently an early PM at a small fintech startup and thinking of changing companies, but could use some advice.

1. If I want to be a tech PM in the future, would it be a bad idea to go into a different industry, like an ad or creative agency, for some time? Would it be harder to transition back to tech afterwards?

2. If you were at an early stage startup that doesn't have benefits set up yet, what % increase on top of the base salary would you want for total compensation?

Hi all. Looking for advice. I’m trying to decide between 2 job offers (same salary) but different positions. Looking for an apartment in Gold Coast/Old town/Lincoln Park/Lakeview. Anyone have anything?

I’m moving to Chicago in the next two months. I’m finding “good deals” but am worried that taking advantage of getting an apartment in my budget will mean in a year I can expect the rent to sky rocket. And then I will be forced to move again. I assume there are no limitations on how much an apartment can go up once the lease ends? Landlords/management are not allowing a 2 year lease. Also is there a generic Chicago bowl that I’m missing out on?
