Our office recently got a listing and as a realtor who's been looking for a home, I want it for myself. It's in my budget and it seems to be in good condition. Would it be unethical to keep it for myself?

No, it would not be unethical to keep the listing for yourself. It's not like you are not going to pay for it

I don't see why not to do it, unless your company has a policy that does not allow it.

Not at all, it's one of the benefits of being a real estate agent, if it's right for you it should be the best option for the agency as well. Share your intention with the people in the agency so they know and support you. Best regards.

I think the only way it is unethical is if a colleague has already closed a deal with a client for that house before you saw it, if so yes, if not, then you do not have the right and you can not lose the opportunity.

Nope, if anything, this kind of stuff is one of the perks of the job

??? What do you think could possibly be unethical about this?

Is there an app to target specific houses or streets for when they go on market?

There are certain houses located along certain portions of some roads that I don't drive by regularly. But I would love to know if any of them ever go on the market.

I was thinking it would be great to have a Google maps like app that you could browse and select a bunch of houses and eventually get a notification if any of them ever go on the market.

Or, is there any other low effort way of doing this?

This may be an elementary question, but my credit score just randomly dropped 20 points. I keep my utilization very low. Almost all of my financial transactions are on my credit card, and I pay everything off by each statement. One month I didn’t get a chance to pay everything off because there were some transactions made on my statement date that I was not able to pay off because they were listed as pending. This resulted in my utilization going up to 6%. My credit score did not change (cont).

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently a civil design engineer, and trying to switch to real estate as a Program Manager. I have an interview in a week where they tell me I will have to work on ( for about 3-4 hours ) on an operational case study.

The job is located in Paris and the job is in French .

Does anyone here have any case studies in Real estate that they can share ? and if they're from France, that would be even better.

Thank you in advance !
