Our project is transitioning from Wipro to other rival 'X' company. Now I have an offer from the other 'X' company to work for the same project in their organization.

No it will not cause any trouble. dont inform anyone in present company that you are shifting to same project. If you are getting good hike go for it!
Some companies have agreements with clients that they will not take people directly or through other vendors without prior approval.
Secondly most companies also have an agreement with employee which we sign at the time of joining that we will not work for same client for 6 months to 1 year through client directly or another vendor - check offer letter or annexure.
Many companies may not pursue any legal action, but that provision is surely in place.
No problem. My teammates did the same. Actually we had development part and Accenture had support. He switched from here and joined same project in Accenture. No issues.
Check if you have signed any clause/agreement with Wipro to not join competitor and work with same client. ? You can also ask the rival company will there be any problem?
Thanks, will check that.
Wipro may not provide NOC. It happened in my account in Wipro
