Curious the pay difference. What general pay range (US) can someone with 3-5 years of PMO/functional consulting for SAP S4HANA Cloud & On Prem experience expect at a big 4 firm with an MBA(not that having the MBA matters a ton)?
Can anyone recommend good certifications for Risk and Compliance profile? I need recommendations for certifications which would help me climb up the ladder in the organisation or make a place at the Big 4's.
I got a $8,000 raise for year end and promotion, and no bonus. I just got written offer from other big 4 for 40k more then I am making at Deloitte.

Sacramento Big 4 folks: What is your office culture like? Which is the best Big 4 in town in terms of market power?
Is it normal for teams to lose it on each other on a regular basis? I’m fairly new to the B4 and never experienced it at former firms. It starts at the top and it’s starting to take a toll on my performance. Not sure if I need to suck it up and deal with it or start thinking about changing teams. TIA
I work as a manager at a Big 4. On the strategy side, such as Monitor , strategy& , Parthenon etc. I have 6 yrs work experience I have a low undergrad GPA 2.7 and a high master GPA 4.0. I live in the north east. I haven’t taken my GMAT. Do you think I can get in Columbia/Wharton/Yale/MIT emba. Trying to assess my best option and how I should approach it?
Anyone switch careers entirely? I have 2 years in Big 4 under my belt and honestly no desire to be a senior in public and feel like I’d be bored as a staff accountant. Feeling really pigeonholed and want to change careers but not even sure where to begin
New to B4 consulting but how bad is it to roll off a project earlier than your end date? Would my RM even allow it? Just trying to understand how much independence I really have and also just the culture of staffing
Working as an audit staff in big 4 shared service centre. It's been 2 years. I really don't like what I do there, also it seems I won't like what I'll be doing there even after becoming senior. Thinking of leaving and joining industry once ACCA qualified. (One more paper left). But people around me discourage that growth potential and earnings in industry are way less compared to public accounting. I know that too but I still want to leave. I'd like to stick to core accounting. Thoughts pls
What are the exit opportunities for big 4 M&A tax? Any chances to go to investment bank M&A or retiring as a big four partner is the best scenario?
How much salary should I expect for 2 YOE in IT Audit with a CISA? All experience from a big 4.
I received a verbal offer to go to a B4. It’s been about a week since then. They haven’t gone entirely dark, but how confident can I be that they’re not stringing me along, and that they may cancel?
I'm a senior finance major planning to take the CISA instead of the CFA/CPA so I can get to manager. What are the best CISA prep programs/books for a non-IT major?
For MBB interns who finish their summer internships and receive return offers, can they directly transition to FT? Or do they need to wait for some period of time
Analytics folks at a MBB, what’s your experience been like? What level would I come in at with 8 years of experience?
I see everyone trying to exit to FP&A yet I chose this audit position over FP&A at a national public company right out of school (pay would’ve been 30% higher too back then)... did I screw up?
Totally used to long days, but back-to-back 12-14 hours RIGHT after 2 weeks of bench is killer.
If switching from one big 4 firm to another how does switching over cell phone plans work?

About to call it a day and burn the devil's lettuce.
Hey Mates I'm working in pretty good fintech firm. I'm in my 30s with 2 kids and they are calling everyone to office by January I want remote job and would never want to live in any city again. Wondering which route to opt? 1. Start investing in open source and build a profile, find freelance jobs on upwork/Fiverr Or 2. Start giving interviews in remote jobs. FYI I'm terrible at interviews and spoken communications. Please provide your inputs. I want to work remote with good pay.
My Mom is traveling first time with me to India and I want her to feel the luxury and all benefits of United Airlines. If anyone has Global do you mind upgrading Mom's seat? Would be really appreciated :-)
Long stretch - my educational background is Business Psych at PSU and social psych program at Yale - I’m an analyst with a background in brand strategy and project support. I am really into marketing archetypes, brand reputations, psychology of experiences. I’m analytical but also creative and a huge people person. Anyone out there like me who’s found their calling? People tell me sales, UX design, etc
Any former Big 4 auditors which switched to controlling/FP&A/internal audit care to share their experience on the new job? Is it more interesting? You feel like you actually help the business? and promotion is harder to get as many say? Thanks!
