1. Watch English movies as much as you can without subtitles
2. Practice a small game where you think of a hard concept maybe related to technology or something and try to explain it to like 7 years old.. catch is to use as low a number of words as you can.
3 Practice with online people on apps like JoshTalk, ByTalk
4. Read books related to what you are working on, unlike video or tutorials, books generally gives you a wide range of vocabulary to talk on one subject in length.
5 Prepare beforehand meetings key points and for every pinpoint write down some keywords if you find hard to think of words on the spot
6 Last not the least be Confident! No one and nothing is perfect, or we wouldn't have uniqueness.

In my opinion, you need to do some homework and follow below points to start with and u will feel the difference
1. As u have 5 yrs of experience I am assuming you must be a individual contributor. Daily meetings are to take status of the task assigned to u. Before the meeting, go with a preparation on the tasks that u have worked on and do a dry run of 5-6 mins.
2. Try to answer in a systematic way as in a. The task that u are working on 2. The progress 3. Blockers 4. Expected time to completion etc.
3. Donot rush while answering. Take your own time to pick up the pace. It's okay to be slow. That floating time will give u buffer to frame the answer in your mind.
4. Speak with confidence. Remember: watch your tone .. there is a thin line between confidently speaking and being rude.
5. Record your own answers. Hear it practice it and tune accordingly.

Remember, things will not change in a day but u will start feeling the difference for sure.


Your managers may be thinking this, but it could also be that they simply haven't had the opportunity to see your full potential yet. It would help if you continued to focus on improving your communication skills, and try to take on opportunities to showcase your abilities. Seek feedback from your managers and colleagues, and pay attention to how others perceive you.

That's anxiety & low confidence
Think of those ppl in meeting as stupid ppl & all wil b good

That is why I said low confidence & don't always assume they know all, technically they wouldn't know better than you so just feel confident about yourself

One simple approach I would suggest is start using just English language to talk with your friend or colleagues in office. You will easily start improving in a month.

Its happens with me too when I connect with onshore team

Just trying to anchor my minimum expectations a bit and would really appreciate some help. If I enter industry at the strategy manager grade into a large (FTSE 100) corporate. What does my earning trajectory look like (assuming I continue to progress through grade towards Head of Strategy)?

Is Agile work model really unnecessarily pressuring the developers/designers/testers. I have seen my elder brother/sisters who started IT career in 2006-07 or nearby & were so happy due to which I also attracted towards IT career. Later on with my experience I came to know that I have been working in Agile since starting & they were working on waterfall which doesn't pressurise employee
