Have to rework my book. How many of you would caught a junior copywriter candidate some slack on art direction?
Sitting in my hotel room crying, trying to get over a breakup that’s a few days old and suffered because i travel for work, 500 miles from any of my friends...starting to think I can’t do this job.

Any any one here created irrevocable trust? If so what are the annual expenses of maintaining the trust? How hard is IRS paper work
How does everyone show off concepts in their book that haven't been executed but still want to display?
How do folks in litigation handle writing samples? As a relatively junior attorney, most of my work has a lot of hands in the pot. Is it ok to use something that you worked on with other people?
For anyone that needs a laugh - I’m trying to baby wear my infant son more, but he has the worst gas. It’s like being strapped to a skunk! 😳😂
Folks - how do you prep for case interviews in half a week? Any resources you would point me towards? It’s been over 5 years since I last had interviews. Sure I am in consulting but I honestly don’t do this thing on the day to day so am very sure will be very rusty.
About to start at firm A in a week, but I've already accepted another offer from firm B. It was leaps and bounds better in terms of comp. Am I better off telling firm A the real reason that I am reneging, or should I skirt around the question?
Considering leaving Bain with 2 years in SM role, HSW MBA, and 11 years since undergrad. Google role is non-technical Cloud Strategy. Unsure of title or level at this point - called "lead" but contact indicated flexibility. Would be remote in a non-SF/NY location. Mgr indicated it was technically an individual contributor role though I would be managing 2 people. What comp/level should I expect (Assuming L6?)? What is the significance of the IC role if I'm technically managing 2?
Any insights on comp to ask for in the financial services tax senior assoc role. Southeast MCOL. About to apply and would be a SA2 I assume.
What are associates with roughly 2.5 YOE making in Los Angeles? I’m making $81K but feel like with insurance, student loans, car payment, rent, etc I am unable to save anything and am so stressed.
Interviewing with an agency in NYC, but I’ve never worked in that market, so I’d love some guidance. Nearly 5 years experience. Working at an accomplished place right now. Have several awards. What should be the LOWEST number I accept in a negotiation? This isn’t a big holding company shop, so I’m trying to prepare what realistically could be the lowest I go.
I work in a group that has had to come in to the office regularly during COVID (lots of work with original documents and wet ink signatures). It’s real estate and title companies still require wet ink documents. One junior has refused to come in because he says he’s concerned about COVID. We all wear masks, close our doors, and socially distance. We’ve all had to pick up the slack for him. Just found out he’s taking his second vacation during COVID and visiting family in FL. I could scream.
At Deloitte in the DC metro as a GPS Senior Consulant. Looking to eventually transition to a role at Microsoft while remaining in DC. What certifications, skills, and project experience should I seek out to prepare?
Im a BDR at a large medtech vendor that expanded into SaaS complimenting our existing smart devices at hospitals. Sales cycles are long in this industry (min 12mo), but seems our value-add platform is so new to market that it’s taking longer (16-24+mo). I’ve been here for over 6mo and support 3 AE’s with zero pipeline and wins, despite meeting my own metrics to get meetings. Is this complex environment usual for enterprise software sales? Not sure if I’m hurting my new sales career by staying.
