Over the last 6 months I have been working to develop an EdTech App, the app is designed to change the way children in K-6 interact with technology. I have not been able to dedicate the time required to bring this from a prototype to a money making app. I would love to find a Co Founder that is able to come in and help get this idea moving. My exec told me yesterday I couldn’t attend (after weeks of asking him), citing that we couldn’t have excessive hours of OT (maybe 4 hrs). I do not feel valued as a team member.

I’d charge a small subscription fee to existing Docusign customers for a plugin tool to make certain tasks easier.
I created a Docusign developer account and the ‘advocate’ from Docusign has been reaching out for a meeting to discuss my idea. I’m concerned Docusign would just take my simple idea and use their resources to build the same tool, and render my work product useless.
Any ideas/advice? Is this paranoid or reasonable concern?
