I was recently put on a 30day plan, busted my ass on it and was let go during covid. I’m beyond hurt and I feel very targeted and it never felt fair. What else could I do? I’m embarrassed and I recently came across one of the women who never liked me on social media and all the feels felt fresh again.
Is it dishonest for consulting firms to say "no covid-related layoffs", while suddenly counseling out a bigger % of people, or letting people go due to low utilization under the guise of performance?

Since everyone in here appears to have applied for the same DoorDash position(s), curious through which channels you applied? How long between application submission and first contact was it? I’ve been applying for different positions (not all DoorDash) through a number of sites and wondering if anyone has had success converting in a specific channel? Thanks!
Any thoughts on transitioning to medical school after 2 years of consulting? Realizing I want to be in a role where I’ll have more hard skills and a clear path
Advice needed! 🤚🏽 I work full time in NYC, have just been promoted to senior, completed two exams, and have to pass both FAR and BEC before my first exam credit expires on 12/31/20. How reasonable is it to assume I can pass the two exams by then? Especially considering full time work, new position, disruption in the exam process because of the pandemic, and other responsibilities. Also, I have other business opportunities I want to pursue. This is definitely weighting in on my decision.
For those who moved from agency to client side - I'm considering a client side director media role. I'm currently a VP group director on the agency side. In terms of title/level is this a move down, lateral or up? Understand it's a different type of experience but want to understand if people consider this a "step back".
5th year NYC V100 general litigation associate here considering applying to a prominent real estate litigation team at a better firm, but concerned about limiting in-house opportunities in the future. Where do all the real estate litigators go?
I bought a VERY expensive flight yesterday without even considering how I could have used my miles. Turns out I could have traded my Marriott points for miles and ended up with like 50k miles for British airways. Ive never used miles so I’m not sure what this ends up being when paying with them. Anything I can do? Or just remember next time 🥴
