Don't overcorrect. Get back on the horse tomorrow and do what you would have done if you hadn't over eaten.
Forget about today and do better tomorrow
A nutritionist told me it’s almost impossible to gain weight or change body composition from a single day of overeating, because your body was built to handle ups and downs in food availability/intake. So if you’ve been doing well and can go back to that tomorrow, you’ll be fine. (Obviously frequency can make a difference here! I’m not advocating for people to claim freebies several times a week, lol!)
😩 I ate bread, bread, bread, bread, wine, wine, wine, and rice today 😩 let’s help each other

One day isn’t going to kill you.
Use the extra calories today to get a killer pump and workout tomorrow! I find I often look better after a day of “overeating” especially while in a deficit. As others are saying, don’t worry about it too much and overcorrect, just get right back on the horse. You got this. 🙌🏼
As others are saying just get back on track with meals and continue workouts, maybe add a extra rep or run. I wouldn’t suggest intentionally skipping a meal though even though the body can handle ups and downs, your body still has a schedule and would still benefit from the nutrients so it will useful to keep the body working (digesting) food in your normal cycles. Not eating is actually worse for your body (I didn’t say intermittent fasting)
Intermittent fasting can help. Just skip breakfast the next day or two. But like others said do not overreact.
You had a bad day. It happens and will happen again. Just don’t allow 2 bad days in a row.
As long as you have more good days than bad days you’ll come out ahead.
