How about instead of doing that you have a conversation with him and try to educate him on this issue?
Wow! Lots going on here. People are always going to have their opinions whether about blacks vs whites, men vs women, young vs old or just some pain in the ass you are working with or for that is different from you or competing with you. We can't sue everyone or pick a fight with them. I guess you have to decide which battles you want to fight at work. I don't have that particular battle but have had to make some choices on what I will put up with at work. Maybe I am naive but I don't think HR can fix everything. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

Sometimes I post on here thinking the consultants "out there" are different than the consultants "in here", forgetting it's all the same audience but people are a bit more ballsy because they can hide behind an app. My bad for even trying to start a "meaningful dialogue". The situation I described as well as the tone (and fact) deaf responses in here further affirm that no one really cares about minorities. All I'm saying is don't have inclusion and diversity when it's all clearly bullshit.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to score a million and leave/retire. I stopped trying to explain racism and bias to folks a long time ago. It's blatant, anyone who does. It see has no interest in seeing it. Make sure that they face consequences and keep moving forward.

@E2 yeah that's what I'm going to do - but I'm not going to be silent. What I'm seeing from the all inclusive PwC consultants on here is (1) reporting isn't a solution and (2) talking about with people isn't a solution since they really have a different "belief" . So really they just want black people to shut the fuck up and be glad they're allowed to have a job.
I made no critique about you getting upset. Just saying your approach is wrong and when others disagree you can rise above or express your distain like a grown up. You're a senior consultant? Make your points logically and without coming off as an upset toddler. Though I agree with some of what you've said it hard to look past your responses to others telling them to f themselves or gtfo. If you want to start sighting MLK then take from him and be an example. Pretty sure he was able to make points without reducing himself to attacks on others.
