I had an intern on my project tell me "I heard that you basically have to kill someone to not get an intern offer". I seriously made her life living hell the rest of the project.
PwC got some bright ones in the pipeline it seems
The interns are treated like royalty, because we want them to come back. Then the trap is sprung, when it is too late. Classic Big 4 trying to gobble talent before another firm can.
I don't know when you guys last were on campus, but this is what all of our recruiting teams tell the interns (and new hires). That there will be work life balance, people care about you, etc.
What are they smoking? Or is the campus recruitment team that sets the wrong expectation
So interns are paid hourly... Which means that even though her life was a living hell, she could have ended that internship having made like 20-30k.
She meant get an offer at the end of her internship, but seriously, the fucking nerve.
Millenials...
These fuckers are getting my job after I get laid off? God damn it I had a great night and now it's ruined
I hear we have a lot more interns than full time spots this year so joke is on them if they think a return offer is a given.
As an intern 2 summers ago, my director told me that "you have to shit yourself at the client" to not get an offer.
Fucking Pooja attacks again!
There is also some natural attrition within the intern class though. Even if all got offers, not everyone would come back
Any hot interns? I'd like to make these interns really work for their offer if you know what I mean
Yes -ethics
I got the offer ✊🏽
Maybe she meant full time offer post internship ?
