I liked the Uppababy Mesa because it went nicely with the rest of my Uppababy gear. It clicks easily, can transfer from car to stroller if baby is asleep. It won’t last you long past the infant stage though.

We liked UPPAbaby Mesa. Transferred my daughter out at 13 months. Would recommend the car seat lady on Instagram for more info that you can use to consider a car seat. She’s a car seat pro and I’d trust her insights more than the random ‘10 best car seat’ lists.
Re: pump- I’d start with what’s covered by your insurance. Make sure it has a battery option and get a hands free pump. Once you know nursing/pumping works for you, consider investing in a willow or elvie. I have several friends that splurged on the elvie/willow and then didn’t really end up breastfeeding. They’re non-returnable so ended up being a total waste of money.

Hands free pumping bra*
I liked the clek ling car seat.
I had a willow, but I thought the medela symphony pump worked better than the hands free ones.

Chico key fit 30 was the best for us. It’s highly rated and the price point is great
Another vote for Chicco Key Fit! We just got two bases so we could always put it in whichever car we were using.
Love my Britax B Safe I can’t seat - it’s highly rated for safety. It’s heavy and only compatible with Britax or Bob strollers. Think about your car seat and stroller as a combo.
Chico key fit for us :)
Also, haven’t heard great things about Evie/ Willow. Could do Spectra S1 and get a hands-free bra.

Lot of people I know had Chico. We had uppababy with our oldest and maxi cosi Magellan max with our youngest. UB was good but heavy; we used it on the baby jogger Bcs we had adapters for it (discontinued now). We like the maxi cosi Bcs we can use that until they’re 120 lbs (~10 years old)
There’s so many factors that go into what car seat would work best. Highly recommend @safeintheseat on IG. She even does personal consults if you have the funds to pay her to make the best choice. Hands free totally depends on your body and needs. Willow has disposable bags and reusable. Elvie only reusable. There’s a Facebook group discussing the pluses and minuses of each of these as well.
Would also appreciate any YouTube link or a list with initial must haves

Nuna Pipa is a super popular car seat that works with all the fancy strollers. Check out Lucies List for quick guides and Amazon for a simple registry checklist.
Nuna Pipa is pretty much the best. Lightweight, excellent safety ratings, nice features, etc. Nuna Rava is the best toddler seat imo.
I have had several pumps and really liked the Elvie. It's similar to Spectra, which I responded to well. Medela PUSA or Symphony didn't work for me, and the Willow is similar to those.
