PMP Definitely holds more value and career opportunity. If you’re not looking to progress out of the EA role PACE is fine

Hey all, first time poster here and still consider myself fairly new to consulting so please be kind. Questions for past/ current Accenture folks: I noticed in some threads that SC level only applies to strategy consulting. Could Product Manager be SC level if I have my MBA or is it not even considered a Strategy role? And do they only consider you an “MBA hire” if it’s top tier MBA? Lastly, I’ve seen quite a big salary range for MBA hires. Anyone care to share the latest? TIA.

Corporate Law exit strategies

Not Consulting, but have any of you or ppl you know left Corporate law jobs for a job outside of law? Asking for my partner 😎 he's in a just below magic circle law firm in the City.

What are the chances to make the jump from corporate law (M&A etc) into Consulting? Are there any other potential routes that come to mind?

He's looked at inhouse legal roles but often they want someone with commercial rather than corporate law experience.

Thanks in advance!

Hello fellow HR pros! I really need your opinions on HR certifications. I am deciding between PHR and SHRM-cp. I have read just about all there is online comparing the two and can not decide. My heart is telling me PHR, my mother in law (an HRBP) is telling me to go with SHRM, as it’s more widely recognized, more established and a larger network in general. I work for a 350~ company who is growing rapidly through M&A. Passions/interests are compliance, strategic vision, M&A, branding and culture

I’m transitioning into a more ops/HR function developing our HR dept (we currently use a PEO) from scratch and will have 3 EAs reporting to me. I will be heavily involved in recruiting, benefits, payroll, 401K, training, mentoring, morale & culture & moderately involved in biz dev and marketing.

What would be an appropriate title for this role?

D said we will all move to Central Business Service (CBS)

We will no longer be under Executive Service Center (ESC)

Although management says it will have no impact on us, am suspecting that's not the case.

Does KPMG, EY and PWC have a central support system?

Please, share your thoughts as am thinking that moving to CBS we will lose some perks.
