This is sad 😞

The story is the tragic fact that the negative value he saw was due to a real (but lack of understanding) impact of his trading strategy. Early assignment caused him to have a negative account but should have seen it correct when the other half of his strategy sold.

The sad part was annoying someone with no financial markets knowledge ‘invest’

I'm (27F) making 4x more than my partner (33M). How do you deal with significant income differences in your relationships?

I'm dating a guy and we just had a serious discussion about our finances. I just learned that I earn 4x more than him (200K). We're based in Portland, OR and he's a bank teller and I'm a designer fortunate to be paid SF rates. I'd like to get married and have kids one day and not feel the pressure of being the breadwinner. How have others managed a similar situation?

Anyone here who knows or went through the Veterans CDP, when did you receive your official start date in writing or get contacted by HR? Is anyone actually making any new trades today or just participating in the sell-off by taking money off the table/sitting tight?

MSFT, JWN, INTC, OXY/XOM, PEP, CHGG, ADBE are some of the stocks I'm closely watching/considering getting in on.

Option 1: sell puts which protects from further downside but locks my money/caps upside in case we do see recovery?

Option 2: buy shares which doesn't cap my upside in case recovery starts next 2 weeks but risk further downside?

Option 3: ???
