What are the benefits like at Rsm? Senior here
Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?
Can we take leaves while serving NP?

To qualify for FMLA, you have to have been there for a year. I personally haven't seen a firm that offers anything else. You should ask the person in charge of handling HR stuff at your firm.
My firm doesn’t have a requirement. Was encouraged to take the full paid leave even though I’d been there less than a year!
A lot of companies I’ve interviewed with/worked at required a year. You could always try and negotiate it in your comp package
Are you in NY? Paid family leave requires a year. That doesn’t mean your firm wouldn’t offer their own paid leave sooner, but the state funded leave has that requirement.
Look at your firm’s benefit policy. There’s no across the board standard for company-paid leave.
Someone in my starting class had her baby day one and still had the full paid leave.
