Can someone refer me for a role at PwC please?
Tech Mahindra Hey guys, I attempted Hackathon by tech Mahindra (for jr java developer 1-3 yr exp). After 3 days I received a call from hr confirming that I have been shortlisted and took hr round on that call. Later I received a document verification mail asking for all essential docs which are required for joining, but didn't received any offer letter yet. When I cross checked mail address with my friend in tech Mahindra, he confirmed that such hr exists with same e-mail id. Is it normal in tech Mahindra?
Wish this procedure was available at the big4

You don’t disarm a population because of nut jobs. You address the root cause. As soon as there is a shooting, liberals jump up and cry that we need to outlaw guns - as if outlawing murder stops murder. It’s predictable foolish thinking - per usual
Do people like A1 hold this line of thinking for anything else. For example, "im not saying we should make toxic contamination legal. But toxic contamination doesn't "go away" because it's illigal." Imagine if we held this standard to anything else. We would still have lead in paint. A1 would be saying " lead in paint isn't what causes brain damage, its people who eat the lead paint that causes brain damage. There is this simplistic thinking that if we outlaw lead paint, that brain damage from toxic contamination would magically stop. That's foolish thinking. The problem is complicated and needs to be addressed on multiple levels".
So lets talk about those multiple levels. One of those level is to strictly regulate guns. We can add multiple levels on top that.
Never, not once, have I seen a reasonable explanation for why America stands alone among wealthy countries in the regularity of this carnage - other than the fact that we are roughly 5% of the world’s population but have more than 40% of the world’s guns.
It is far harder to kill 20+ people in mere minutes with a knife, far more difficult to build a bomb. If it were not guns, and humans were pathologically driven to murder their youngest, we would see routine mass-bombings and mass-stabbings in the schools of other OECD nations. But we do not.
It’s the guns. Hard stop.
The majority of people in this country agree with you, including gun owners. My brother has a bunch of guns for hunting and feels VERY strongly that there should be mandatory background checks, no semi-automatic or automatic weapons, etc. He also educated me that a legal gun purchase in many instances comes with automatic enrollment as a member of the NRA, which is how they inflate their numbers and seem to represent way more people than they do in their lobbying.
Ultimately, though, nothing talks like money in D.C., and the gun lobby is WAY richer than those advocating for gun control. This will change nothing at all, esp because the kids killed today were Hispanic, so certainly not people the GOP cares about.
The poor families. It is another terrible, terrible day in this country.

Time to change that. Imagine if 70% of America donated to reasonable gun control organizations
Principal1 - I’m not a gun owner. I think your reason for having a gun is 100% valid, but I also could not care less if you have to sacrifice and we simply eliminate all guns.
Every Republican talking point is always about guns not being the problem. Well - if we take away all bullets and make it illegal to own a gun (valid reason or not) and make the penalty significant enough, I’m willing to bet anything that we won’t have more gun deaths than we currently do. Now I challenge any tucker stan to come up with any other solution where the number of shootings doesn’t keep going up
A 3 hour drive to pick it up for starters. And the absence of any real changes makes it an inconsequential act

Why do you have a gun?
Maybe we make it so you have to be a landowner to own a gun.
So I agree with you that taking away all guns would make sure no one is killed by other civilians. What would probably happen is all the people already following the laws would turn their guns in and criminals would keep them. I’m in favor of reduced magazines and stricter background checks. I think the real problem is the increasing violent crime which is a people problem. I don’t have any data to back it up but I think less broken families would help the violence.
