How do you keep pushing? After rejection after rejection I feel like being jobless is the only thing I think about. I feel like giving up, but that's not an option either. How can I beat this? I know this will be easier with a positive attitude but I just can't right now.


What is the most amount of times you have Applied to one specific company? It could be different job titles and different states but how many times have you applied to the same company? Sodexo , levy, compass group, Hyatt Hilton Marriott have Applied to all those 30 or 40 times over the past three years. Talk about insanity. I stopped applying six months ago I’m no longer wasting my time with people like this!

I am earning 16lpa for this financial year April 21-Mar 22.
In that 16 lpa I earned 1.5 joining bonus.
But when comes to paying tax - total I need to pay nearly 1.6 lpa..
Finally no use of getting better CTC offer.
How to overcome paying heavy tax.
Note :- person who struggles for a day earns 16lacs - after deducting the tax he earns 14.5 lpa
When other colleague who enjoys daily and work for 5hrs/day he earn 14 lpa - but no need to pay tax at all.he was gaining all benefItsby old regime

I’ve been a registered nurse for about four years (ambulatory care & I loved it but felt like I missed something not being inpatient) and been a little lost. My EOY review is coming up. Here I plan to lobby for a promotion/raise (been at company for 1.5 yrs). Some backstory: During my hiring process I was told by my now boss and VP they were also going to hire a senior engineer to help me along. They never hired such senior engineer because I have over performed and do more than they thought I could (have been told this in 2 performance reviews). Thus, is it fair to ask for a raise and promotion to Senior engineer?

I don't know why after I quit my recent job as a receptionist, I don't feel like applying for receptionist job due to it was a toxic job environment, are all receptionist job make you feel this way . I over working customer service but this job here made take another route. Has anyone felt this way before ?.

My boss had a meeting with me 3pm Friday about some new tasks, no deadline given. I’m the only one staffed on this project.

Today, he suddenly comes back to me on a Monday expecting it to be done and ready to go since they’re the ones who are apparently “ready to send it off”.

My messenger also consistently pings ALL weekend. Nothing related to the project though. Ended up muting it to enjoy my time with my family.

… um… boundaries? Deadlines maybe??

Our company bought another and there was a integration in-person meeting last week. Many folks were invited to go. I was not. I lead analytics/reporting team.
Now, my team and I are getting projects stemming from this conference. I was not invited so didn't get to speak on what we can do. Now reporting is needed and data is not available.
First in-person meeting after 2+ years. Would have enjoyed facetime with peers. How do I share my frustrations with my manager who didn't invite me?
