Partner inserted an objection to a discovery request. OC sent a deficiency letter and now the partner is caving on the objection. Our response to the letter will be for my signature. How do I responded other than, "lol. You got us. That objection was BS"?

In my opinion, I don't need a recruiter to have a chance with this firm, but do I have any obligation to use them instead of just reaching out to the firm directly?

Have an opportunity to finally get out of insurance defense. But not really sold on the firm. Could finally get out of ID, but then could also end up at another place I really don't like. Def want my next firm to be long term as I've jumped around.

For ID attorneys - can someone explain the perks for being a partner in ID? At my firm they barely bill above a junior associate. It makes me somewhat sad because I know these partners are very intelligent and their time is obviously worth more than what they the amount they bill.
