Read a lot. Not magazines or newspapers, but books: business, history, nonfiction. A lot of podcasts and audiobooks.
The ability to focus on something for a really long time and think deeply about it. It’s becoming a lost art, but it’s necessary to be able to come up with new ideas and be creative. I limit myself to 2 hours of social media a week
I try to read a lot on a variety of different subjects; a lot of them are not directly relevant to what I do but I find that it helps me nevertheless by giving me ideas or presenting something in a new light.
Habits - I have an off and an off cycle. Over the years, I have learned that I need the off to sustain the on. So when I am on, I get up at 5, workout, deal with important things first, catch up on email, eat healthy and read a lot. When I’m off, I work in pjs, go on walks, focus on admin stuff and slightly more mindless activities until I recharge.
