How do people deal with client requests when they’ve had a few too many drinks? It’s happened a few times on weekends and it’s becoming difficult to navigate when they’re unexpected

I started new job at a pretty big corporation but when they said there's no organization they were not exaggerating. currently I need to create plans/trackers for multiple projects/programs, teach teams how to use etc...

Is it possible to take certain files with you when leaving? Is this monitored, always or focused on the end of your tenure? I’m not talking client data but maybe doc templates or certain slide decks or program code like a VBA macro.

What are your most effective tactics for escalating when scope vs. staffing levels are not aligned? Senior management is aware but taking weeks to resolve with our client. My team is severely under staffed and failing daily, but I hate looking like we don't have our act together. I keep waffling between jumping in to help vs. putting together recos/info that will highlight and combat the root cause.

What's the most efficient way to solve the problem and spend my time?

Currently on a project that is basically admin work. The PM is telling another Sc to tell me to make a slide or gather information we don’t have. The SC is being pretty condescending. Asking for things then saying this isn’t correct but doesn’t want to tell me what he is looking for but furthermore we are peers but he is very nasty…ends everything he says to me with “does that make sense”. I’m thinking he is having me do the work and present it as his own

I remember when I first started working on my thesis project. My adviser asked me to get some funding for it, but he didn't give me any advice about how to do that. He just told me that if I wanted money for my project, I'd have to go through some kind of committee process and submit an application for funding from them. Sure enough, after weeks of writing applications and waiting around for responses from the committee members (who were always too busy), I eventually got approved for funding!

First year dealing with K1s - How do you all deal with these when filing taxes (in a normal year when tax day is 4/15) given you get them after tax day? Do you finalize your taxes by 4/15, pay what you owe at that time (if necessary), and file for an extension to complete later in the fall when you have them all?
