I am wondering if the CCMC is worth it when it comes to case management positions? I have done case management for 6 years but I am not certified. I find that when I apply to case management positions that don’t require the CCMC I am either overlooked with my experience or I make it to an interview but not selected. I’m debating on whether the 8 weeks of class and $1000 cost is worth it when it comes down to being selected?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I have a good relationship with my Practice Leader, and they’ve put me up for Partner this year (🤞). But I have a competing, higher-comp, offer for direct admit Partner at another, larger firm. Tbh, I’m thinking about it. Should I discuss with my Practice Leader?
