Anyone out here who works for Emera or NS Power?
Any federal AWS solutions architect working for Deloitte? How is the hiring process, especially for those that do not have hands on cloud experience? I’m getting a feeling there’s more focus on expanding work with experienced hires and less on growing people who have potential and related skills.
Bain & Company What is the likelihood of making SAC in September 2022 if I join as an AC on April 18th at Bain & Company? I am a senior consultant at EY with 3.5 years of experience in Data Analytics. Or is March 2023 more realistic? They told me 6 months for promotion but it seems like the two promotion cycles with my different start dates give me 4 or 9 months of experience, nothing in between. I’ll be joining in the private equity group which will be new for me.

I’d avoid anything fancy or expensive in front of a jury. Far better chance it hurts your client than helps. And my clients wore jeans so I rarely wore suits when I met with them and if I did it was probably brooks brothers. David Boies wore lands end suits with running sneakers.
Thanks!
West coast EC/VC counsel here, what’s a suit?
Seriously, I'm in LA and was like "where is the 'whatever is on the rack at Ross' option" 😂😂
Each large city has a decent tailor. Find the tailor in your city or in a city you often visit. StyleForum is a great resource.
If you buy off the rack, then pick a suit to your personality (I own a few of each of these brands):
I want you think I’m the alpha: Tom Ford
My country club is my personality: Brioni
I might not be at the top, but I’m better than you: Canali
Appearing artisanal is important, so long as I appear artisanally rich: Kiton
I am super laid back, dammit: Brunello Cucinelli
I am a wannabe extra on Succession: Loro Piana
Being called a Bond Villian is a compliment: Attolini
I watch nothing but 80’s movies: Armani
I love plaid more than I love self respect: Isaia
I’ll also give a serious response: I believe Belvest is the best value in suits. Most of my go-to-court suits are Attolini. Those two makers fit an athletic frame well. I’m transitioning into a local maker for my partner-level suits. Hopefully, I get the ring in the next 18 months.

Best tier = custom.
Don’t do Canali. Italian brand but quality isn’t there. Tom ford and Brioni are the best. Also look at Zegna. You can usually find Zegna on sale and the quality there is amazing.
There’s an enormous price difference between Tom Ford/Brioni and Canali. And latter does have fully canvassed offerings that are fine; OP doesn’t need a $5K+ suit. Agree on Zegna but their top line stuff is closer to Brioni in price than Canali.

If you want tailored bespoke suits, I’d recommend Zegna. Back when I bought them, they were vertically integrated from fabric to storefront and were able to have a custom suit ready inside a month. Outside of that, I’d also take look at Brioni.
