PE Ops vs T2 consulting at 3YOE. Which would you chose and why?

T2

Pe Ops for an UMM/MF would pay more than consulting and you could be working with some big / relatively well known companies. Some of the funds do buyout, some do growth, some do a mix so understanding what type of investment they make might also be something to take into consideration (for example, if you want to work with high-growth companies, a fund that does growth investments might make more sense)

T2 consulting. More flexible future exits, less likely to pigeonhole you into a specific industry or function. PE ops will be there later.

Sigh. Do you have friends or families that are just like popping out kids and getting pregnant like it's eating dinner? Dunno how they do it but man sometimes it's just difficult to hear all these good news... knowing that we should be happy but like sometimes secretly thinking like can you pace yourself.. while some of us are having a hard time just getting 1!!
