Second girl is my sister 🤦🏻‍♂️

It’s too late for her. She is an Asian Karen. And she did marry a white guy, but he’s actually pretty chill and their kids are great. It’s just too bad their mom sucks lol

Omg grew up in Virginia , saw this all the time!

I just started laughing. That being said, everyone makes their peace with God in their own way. It’s not my place to impose on others what their relationship is or should be with their ethnic heritage. Live and let live.

“They all look like my brother” LOLOLOLOL I’m dead. In all seriousness though I don’t think there’s much to do here but laugh. Those people hate themselves more than anyone else ever could.

I am going to make a move from the US to Canada in a month. I started browsing for places to rent and trying to pin down a decent area to live. I will be moving with my wife and 1 year old twins. I will have a car. What are some good areas to live? We are looking for a bigger space than apartments- ideally a townhome or semi-detached. I will work for Deloitte, so the office will be downtown. Not sure if driving is advisable as a daily commute as and when things open up.

Breastfeeding on a zoom call. Yay or nay? Was awkward in the call today. With webcam on. No one said anything but can tell from the faces the bewilderment. 5 people call. 3 women and 2 men. Kept up to point and wrapped the call quickly. I am one of the males btw.

I have a close family member that has asked me to "write a letter," as her attorney, to a service provider who she believes is in breach. I don't mind doing it, but I'm not sure whether I can engage her without bringing her into my firm as a client. Because of our relationship, I wouldn't bill her, but it doesn't seem like I should bring in clients to my firm without billing them. How are these situations normally handled?

Imagine your firm region leader bowing out on you right during the middle of a huge client proposal that your team has been working on for months and then citing afterward there is “more to life than winning client work” and that it’s OK to sit out some of the biggest client proposals due to mental health…

MBA worth it you went to T1 undergrad and don't want to switch industries? Additional context: 4 YOE at T2/T3 firm. Think an MBA could be useful since I don't have business/finance background and at some point want to move in house for an investment firm. If I were to get an MBA, it'd be state school (T50). Concerned if I don't go back now, I'll never go back.

Is getting CFE worth it? I’ve failed the 3 different sections of the CPA and I am giving up. But I would like some kind of certification to look a tad more marketable. Thoughts?
