The bike itself is whatever but the classes are great. I have a different branded bike that is 1/3 price and my firm pays for the membership which I play on my iPad and put on my off-brand bike.

likesmart

I think so. I ride the bike nearly every day. There are several instructors I like and there’s plenty of classes/music to choose from.

like

Yes. Great work out and easy to get them in when you have one at the house.

like

Yes and while you can get an off brand bike for me the number one reason it is worth it is metrics. Yesterday I repeated a ride I’ve done many times and I made sure to beat myself. Having the output numbers is key for me. If measuring growth in that way is important to you get it.

Absolutely. It’s also cheaper than an equinox membership on a monthly basis if that’s your comparison

I've had one for 3+ years and love it. Changed my whole outlook on cardio. The instructors are great and I like a lot of the features they've added over the years, like the shadow boxing classes and yoga/pilates.

like

Nope but a high quality indoor bike and the Peloton app on an iPad are totally worth it. You pay $10 a month for the subscription instead of $35

My membership fees are also reimbursed by the firm, so maybe worth looking into what your firm can pay. I think it’s worth it regardless.

I have a Myx bike, and I like it. We bought it at the pandemic's beginning when Peloton bikes were super backordered. The classes are excellent and fun as well.

like

Yes! I second the person who said to rent one first (you rent directly from Peloton). That’s what I’m currently doing!

No.

As someone who has enjoyed spin classes for years, and also remote spin classes, I personally found their instructors very second rate. Part of it is the format, with all the shout outs. It's quite distracting, then the subscription is ~$60 for the classes and the free ride courses. Kind of whack. I only ever did the free ride. I would recommend a cheaper bike and cyclecast, personally.

I highly recommend but would get an off brand bike and pay for the digital service and cast to your TV

How much is the monthly membership?

44 dollars

Hello,
Hope everyone is having a great day. I'm looking for a new opportunity either within PwC or another consulting firm. I have 2 years of risk consulting experience and my main focus has been financial crimes but am open to other fields as well. I've been at the AC in Columbia, however there does not seem to be room for growth and my skills are not being used as well as they should be. Any referrals would be incredibly helpful.

Let’s talk about how Salesforce put me through 6 rounds of interviews spanning 6.5 weeks with a panel presentation, last being final VP round and hiring manager constantly viewing my LinkedIn & adding me , to just got a generic automated email from recruiter about how they are not moving on with my candidacy. Waste of time, never again! F*** these companies with a complete broken recruiting system.

Hi Fishers,
I am a Product Owner with 6 yoe and a mother of newly born. My current package is 12lpa and average 11-12 hrs working with work from office for 7-8 hrs, remaining calls/work from home. In such scenario taking care of the baby has become very challenging.
I have been considering job switch for a while but have lots of doubt in my mind. Will a new mother be hired? Working 12 hrs will only ensure good package? If i insist on work life balance, will it affect the package? Thoughts plz

Critical Mass is very soon opening a position for a Marketing Science Analyst - based out of Chicago, but location shouldn’t be an issue if you’re in the US as we are largely a liquid talent company.

Its a great opportunity for entry/mid level analysts who are keen on challenging analyses and seek growth.

You’ll be working on the team I am on and I am more than happy to answer more specific questions in a DM!

Anyone else work with the Gold-Star *favorite* associate? She’s an incredible writer, endearing, and sharp. Everyone in the section goes to her with the interesting work. I passed the bar almost a year after she started. I have never been given the opportunity to draft an MSJ or 12(b)(6) motion. I read everything she writes. It’s amazing. How do I get these same opportunities? I’d like to become more than the researcher. But I’ve been on this hamster wheel for 2 years. She’s an ivy grad. I’m T4.

I accepted an offer to join a national firm after graduating this summer. The pay is decent, and I am relatively happy so far (it’s only been a month since I joined). Today I received an email from a bigger, more prestigious firm I applied to months ago. They’re asking if I am still looking for an Associate role. I would like to interview with them to see what they have to offer. Would that be considered ‘disloyal’ towards my current firm that I just joined a month ago?

Mid 2020, I turned down an opportunity to jump ship from my small law firm to a big law firm. At the time I had 4 years of practice under my belt with managerial experience. I thought the offer was reasonable, come in at a 2nd year level, but with the uncertainty of the times I played it safe. Now I regret it. What avenues do I have, if any, to jump into big law from a small firm?
