People always told me to network and reach out to people for roles. But I've never found anything from reaching out. Every role I've gotten has found me. Anyone else have this experience?

Need help in understanding how the recruitment process in Accenture. I completed my interview process with them 10 days ago . The interviewer had a a very positive response and told that I should wait for a final round and expect a confirmation email. I am yet to get a response and when I checked in the portal my status for the position says “Not in consideration”.
Is it something happened with other as well or simply signify I am not selected?

Remote Onboarding question: I joined my company a little over two months ago, and I’m in a remote role. This is my first time onboarding remotely as I started at my last company pre-pandemic.
