“Tone policing is defined as "a conversational tactic that dismisses the ideas being communicated when they are perceived to be delivered in an angry, frustrated, sad, fearful, or otherwise emotionally charged manner." Managers striving to create a workplace based on equity and inclusion must understand how tone policing silences members of marginalized groups and allows discrimination to persist.” https://www-businessinsider-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/www.businessinsider.com/how-to-identify-and-help-stop-tone-policing-in-workplace-2020-8?amp

Cause it’s impossible to quantify
How so?
I think you’re way ahead of the curve for even asking this question. Imagine a pyramid with 3 tiers. The base consists of most companies that still view DE&I in terms of race and gender. The middle tier contains a few companies that realize “diversity” isn’t always a physically observable characteristic, and that includes neurodivergent representation. The tip consists of only a handful of companies focused on cognitive DE&I, having discovered that better quantity and quality of idea generation comes from a broad spectrum of life experiences.
I've found a few places that have neurodiversity-related hiring practices, but often that simply related to interview accommodations. I'd love to see those same companies broadly share any stats on neurodivergent managers/executives, but I haven't seen a single one--have you?
