People are constantly telling me that I will get my next job based on my network. Unfortunately, my network has practically failed me. Suggestions on meeting the "right" people?

Your firms most underutilized/unknown benefit?

Everytime someone texts at work, they never say good morning. They just get straight into the topic. In my previous company's culture (in Australia), it's offensive not to ask: "Hello, how are you doing?" before getting into anything work related. Does anyone have a better work culture where people actually care about each other and not treat work colleagues as if they're just robots doing work?
