I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

I live in northern VA. Sure seems like it. I'm alright with opening up responsibly but jeez, wear a mask.
Edit: mask wearing might be different by area looking at other comments - am relieved to hear!
Maryland (dc suburbs) has a good balance. Stuff reopening but everyone is in a mask.
Yep. I went to a yoga class on Friday. If thousands can gather to protest I can resume the “necessary” aspects of my life.
I think D2 does have priorities in order. I’ve been going to the gym since it opened 3 weeks ago. My physical, mental and emotional health are important to me. I do not have any contact with anyone at risk. That’s my one “risky behavior” and I’m ok with it. It’s a personal choice, and not illegal. Everyone there is taking the same calculated risk.

100% yes. Atlanta
Also in Atlanta and yup
Lots of things opening here in Texas, people are awful at wearing masks and our case, death, and hospitalization counts are all steadily ticking up. The R number is still around 1 but I can’t help but think that’s gonna start ticking up.
And while they are important, I can’t imagine the protests are going to be good for containment. Even with contact tracing, it’s not like you can contact trace through a protest so folks won’t even know.
Northern Virginia seems back to normal - most people in masks. But after a quick round of errands today, I’m back in quarantine mode .... things should not be back to normal

Same. Staying away. Let stupids get cleared out.

People are disturbingly carefree in New York. Massive groups at bars and parks.
Thought so...carry on 🤣
Not quite - in Boston area. Most folks still in masks, luckily!
In Southborough...but agree that most people aren’t social distancing anymore 😪 hoping the masks at least stay and we don’t get complacent.
Yea! Chicago suburbs. Not quite open. Restaurants are closed but Orangetheory has reopened while the local gyms are shut! People stopped wearing 😷 nor are they caring much about social distancing. It’s somewhat a little relief that the store associates are wearing masks though. I went for groceries but I’m sticking with quarantining until the vaccines come out
I’m in Houston, where it seems like people acting like everything is fine. No masks, people dining out, having dinner parties, planning their summer vacations like 🤷🏼♀️
Bars and gyms are still closed in North Carolina. I’m really bummed about the gyms still being closed. Don’t usually go out to other places much otherwise. Most people in my area are still in masks.
Dallas... was out yesterday to do a dinner pick up and man people are just chilling like a villain. No masks and no social distancing. Except maybe the employees of the restaurant.
Chicago downtown and north side is packed and nobody even people walking their dogs are wearing masks smh patios and outdoor seating is open. lol I even understand grabbing a quick beer / glass of wine but there’s literally people in going out clothes acting like everything is Norma
Dallas, everything back to normal for me. No mask, no gloves. Only thing that changes is I do an extra wipe before and after gym machines.
Florida. Yes
Echo above. Florida is open. I see few people in masks.

No. SF East Bay.

Not close, in NJ here. Some restaurants can open tomorrow for outdoor eating only. Many retail stores closed until next week. And most recreational activities still shut down until further notice

Now that Democrats and the media are okay with it, it’s okay
Toronto. We are still 70% closed.
Yeah, it is over. Damn the policies.
