Hi All,
We are looking for a Learning and Development Manager at FIECON - a boutique life sciences consultancy. We have grown ~40-100% in the last 6 years since inception, and a L&D manager will be critical to facilitating this growth. Good pay cool work
Enthusiast
Awesome 👍
Experience depends highly on the office / team
thanks, twas helpful. I’m a newbie to the firm (India Office) so haven’t worked long enough to form an opinion
Good pay. A lot of people leaving now (me included)
Yeah that makes sense. I hear a lot about the growing pains aspect too. Hope you enjoy your new role!
Great people and intentions.. but variable experience depending on the project and group/team/pod within the company. This is exacerbated by multi project staffing where at least one of the multiple projects that people are staffed on at any given time end up being challenging due to the client or team or combination of the two.
That being said I love it here and am staying because of the 66% of the time that it’s been an enjoyable experience for me 👍
Loving the 2/3rds metric added
Nice to know thanks!
What’s the pay like for your YOE?
concur with the others- its variable. Growing pains, no say in engagements / setting reasonable expectations, multi-staffing is not ideal and can impact your experience. Overall I'll say the company has changed over the past 1-2 years- Managers are now expected to manage the project but also do the work of leadership - they've decided not to focus on projects but selling. So good luck presenting final deliverables that no one has reviewed and be thankful that they 'have your back' in front of the client lol
To add, I think experience is highly variable across pods — WFH has exacerbated pre-existing differences even more. Some pods are much better with giving employees say in their staffing and level of manager engagement with project work. WLB can be challenging at times across the entire company, but I’ve overall had a fantastic experience with lots of autonomy over my staffing, but I know others may not be able to say the same.
