People from Investment Banks, what do you tell recruiters when the y ask your total Comp? As the Bonus is not mentioned in the offer letter but given in the end of the year, how do you convince recruiters to consider that as part of ur Total Comp?

Switching from commission to salary!

I’m considering a less sales-oriented role that doesn’t pay commission. The new role will have a higher base but lower overall earning potential.

What % haircut should be expected? As an example, if I make 100k (base + commission) today, would it be realistic to ask for 90k (10% cut) + equity to make up the difference?

Just recently given an offer within my own department, new role created just for me , base salary is def an improvement from my old salary. I decided to negotiate other stuff. But now I feel bad.
