I have my joining Infosys in 2 weeks. Since my interview date, HR and others not sharing any info about projects or roles n responsibilities.
I have recently asked HR to give detail again but HR responded like all the info will be shred once join Infosys.
I'm worried that I would be put bench during this so called recession time..
Does Infosys do always like this? How to connect to Manager or get Info about project?

I've got offer letter from Amdocs thru Mega Drive Event for Java Developer.
But I have one doubt.. they haven't mention anywhere about my role (basically at which position i am selected for) in interview or HR discussion.
I've also seen a post that a guy is in bench after joining and he is looking for project internally for java Springboot ms .
Please give me your valuable suggestions in comments..

Yes, that's indeed true. There are large scale cross platform training programs being executed to enhance the skill levels/cross train to make them project ready. But the pipeline is dry, expecting better times ahead.
Is there any adverse effects of having low utilization?? Are we answerable for it?

You're answerable for what you're doing while and if you're on bench. Make sure to connect with your coach/RL to ensure you upskill/cross train and/or get certified. Good time to learn some new things and be ready for projects.

Well, yes there is a very huge bench, like someone said 50+. Yes it will affect our annual performance tier. I even heard they fire people with a too much high and unjustifiable bench period. Situation is grim.
