People from MC/SC practice in AC Bangalore. What is the current scenario of projects? Seems like lot of people are on bench.

Can any body tell me i worked one year in cts,now i am in bench,if i put paper in bench exactly how many days they will take to release me ?

I'm one week in my first project and I already know it's not my cup of tea - how long do I have to stay on before it's acceptable / reasonable to roll off?

I am about to join cognizant on 10th Oct.
I was hired for bench so i am little worried about the project and bench policy?
Can anyone share how things are done in cts?

I am currently working at Publicis Sapient. I joined in the month of April. There are lot of Java folks on bench, they have forcefully enrolled me to API testing training. Even I have mailed the staffing partner multiple times still they are not removing me from API testing since I was hired for Java Developer. I have already my disinterest, followed up multiple times. What ways I can talk to staffing partner to remove me from API testing?please help me. I am very much concerned.

If I'm on bench, Can I charge self learning hours and watching recording of technology related trianings to L&D code?
Or all the 8hrs shall be charged to bench only?
Or Can I charge all the 8hrs to L&D?
Do it make any difference or causes problems ?

I heard that if we are on the bench for more than 2 months and if the resources management team share our profile with HR, then HR asks to share the screen and put in the registration? Is that true?

As I'm moving to a new role in a small company, I have a doubt about my salary structure like the Basic salary part is only 20,000 while my take home is 62k after all deductions.

I'm concerned because the leave encashment & other things totally depends on the basic salary.

Are there not any rules for the Basic salary to be at a certain % of CTC or it depends totally on the company?

Also PF deductions they are offering only 1800 p.m but considering 20000 basic it should be 12% of 20000 right?

Thoughts on racial reparations? My opinion: terrible idea, would be almost impossible to implement in a way that wouldn’t be divisive and likely would be quite ineffective. Also sets an iffy precedent. The time to pay would’ve been 1870, when slaveowners still lived and could be held directly accountable.

1. Do they ask other previous companies documents?
2.Generally Background will be done before releasing offer or when they will initiate BGC?
