Acha. HR switching for the 1st time..😝😝
This is because only negotiating factor for india is offer or previous salary not skills, interview performance.
Asking Previous salary structure which is confidential is also unprofessional but followed by HR's in any reputed organization across India for years.
Well the HRs have never gotten back to us since last 3 decades.. Nothing unprofessional after that.. After all HRs represent the company and culture.. Devs represent product and tech..
Few reject for CTC, few reject for travel time , few reject for wlb ,few reject for service based.
Every one have their own valid reason to choose for.

Yes.. They are not doing us any favour.. How many times it has happened that we were highly underpaid until we put resignation.. And suddenly got 50% to 100% hike with better WLB in the same org.. If anyone is unethical, it is org, mgr and HRs..
Just wait till you reach your last week of notice period. Some things need experience to understand. The offers that come in last 15 days are too good to refuse
You would be sending rejection on last day of your NP. Trust me :)
