Hi folks, I have recently joined Publicis Sapient taking an offer of 14.4 LPA. I have total 4.5 years of experience and my previous CTC was around 3.4 LPA. I had various offers in hand but not one to counter this one and PS is providing me 4x+, so I couldn't negotiate much.
Another thing is I was an immediate joiner as I had left my previous organisation 3 months ago so I couldn't wait to think about this offer.
But now I think it's low, what do you think please let me know and suggest.
Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

Resume is a short description of job experience, education and qualifications. What you are looking is a cv , which contains detailed information.
Why don't you make both of them and while applying in job portals , you can put both of the documents to get shortlisted.
Another point , because you mentioned you don't pick people with one page resume, maybe give them the oppertunity to submit a cv .
I have 12+ yrs of experience and I use a single page resume. Since people reading my resume would be senior management they wouldn't have the time to go thru multiple pages... Nobody gives more than a minute to glance thru the resume
Then you don't know the basic difference between resume and cv. Also the norm is that for ten yrs, you need to have 3 pages, for 20 you need to have 2 pages and for 30 you need to have 1 page resume. Atleast what my mentor told me. One page is also good for ten yrs if it was only one company.
At max 2 page are sufficient. In any way if HR/ recruiter is interested he/she will definitely ask you or sometimes at introduction candidate can strategically highlight those points where he/she wants to turn interview mode.
