Hi there - I am buying my first car and see lots of deals for 0% interest for new cars now (due to covid it seems) but would like a used car to save money. My credit score is 800+ and I can see historically the type of interest I should be paying for that w 70k income, but should I expect the interest rate be less due to the current economic environment? What rate would you all aim to get at this time? And if it’s same % does it matter dealership vs. bank for the loan? Thanks for any help
Anyone have good alternatives to the integer card game for 7th grade? With Covid I don't think I can use the cards
I understand that the Covid vaccine can hit the body hard and everyone reacts differently. I’m empathic, truly, and was fortunate to have minor symptoms. But I’m am one of 23 on my extended team who didn’t schedule their vax appts during work hours and didn’t call off for one to two days after. Statistically, 1/23 without extreme symptoms isn’t unbelievable by any measure. But, when I’m constantly picking up the slack my more critical mind is like: 🤔🧐🤨
Does anyone currently have parents in the US, visiting from India? I am debating if it’s safer for them to travel back home now before Coronavirus gets worse here in the US.
I currently have 10% shares in a very small f&b group owns 2 restaurant outlets.
One of them have been hit with covid and we are suffering in sales. Our director somehow don’t believe in marketing and will not budge to allocate resources to hire a personnel. Our staff are underpaid so there are no incentives for them to go beyond their SOW.
What are some of the ways to drive more sales?
If we have to raise a small round to cover the next 6 months of OPEX - is it a feasible?
I know this topic has come up before but am asking a slightly different question. We have always talked about 3 kids. I discovered I was pregnant with kid 2 the week my city went into lockdown last spring. Entire pregnancy and first 9 months of 2’s life has been Covid. It has been such a vulnerable scary time and I don’t want to be that vulnerable again. I am vaxxed and it’s more about not wanting to be reliant on the medical system vs Covid specifically. Will I regret not going for 3?
Hey everyone! I need some advice. I’ve accepted an offer for a new job, but I’m in a bit of a rush to get out of the position I’m working right now. I start the new job July 18. My job now doesn’t care about their employees, and it’s a health risk for my family and I due to unsafe COVID policies (i.e. forcing you to come in even if you’re sick, making you use PTO for COVID even if working from home, etc). Is there anything short term I can do until July? Or should I stay until then?
Has your firm instilled travel restrictions by the new coronavirus? If so which countries?
Told my manager that I’ve likely been exposed to coronavirus because my boyfriend is showing all the symptoms. Manager shared this information with my entire team. WTF?
I was going to go for kid number two this summer, but then covid happened and I was laid off. Partner is in the film business and nothing is shooting until at least August. Thought I’d just have to postpone everything since neither of us is working and we have to do fertility treatments, but starting to think maybe should just go ahead and do it. I’m 38. I don’t think this is going to be magically better in six months. I’m probably going to be freelancing anyway, no one is hiring. Crazy?
We broke 3,000 COVID deaths today in an awful benchmark that looks to be topped tomorrow. Don’t let any Trump supporter say they’re pro-life. Wear a mask and get tested.
I work with a classroom of Middle School ED students. One student, who I worked with the year before, has changed alot over the year. Last year (pre COVID), she had a good head on her shoulders and I thought I had good rapor with her. But over that period of isolation, she tried to commit suicide.
All year, she was much more withdrawn and ALWAYS on her phone! At the end of the I was 'beat up by her - she really knocked my glasses off.
How should I approach her in the upcoming year?
So how do you feel the consulting life is impacting your wellness as you hop over the age of 40, I’m finding under Covid I’m much more healthy/lost weight etc.

Favour to ask:
I'm building a virtual learning platform to help lawyers overcome some of the barriers we are all experiencing in our legal practices right now in the post coronavirus normal.
I would really appreciate your feedback to a short survey (less than three minutes to complete) I've put together as it will help shape how the platform supports our needs in the coming year.
And yes, once you complete the survey, you can get beta access to the platform itself. Survey is here: lawtrp.link/launchsurvey
Anyone else had Covid once or twice over the last year and just feel off your game ever since?? Like I swear this can’t be the same brain that got me through law school and the bar exam.
Can employers cut pay of H1B holders (as well as others’ at a company) in response to COVID? Or would they need to file H1B amendments?
I'm 32 y/o. I moved to Union City (East Bay) during COVID, and I struggle to make new friends. Any recommendations on channels/platforms/volunteer progroms to make new friends?
We only have 1 car in HH, and my SO usually needs it for his job, which is a big bummer in making new friends I need to take into consideration.
So I was up for a promotion before this corona virus happened. Is it weird to follow up on it now? Seems really bad timing and awkward to bring that up but if I should, how best can I do it?🙈🙈
Wondering if any of you have an SO who is more of an effeminate man? Was the physical attraction slower to appear, but formed as you got to know them more?
I’ve gone out twice with a guy whose personality I like, but the physical attraction is taking longer to appear as he’s not my usual type. He’s a software engineer, a bit introverted, tall and slender, not athletic, and his voice and mannerisms are kind of feminine (he was raised by his mom and sister, makes sense?), which is new to me
I’m looking for an entry level designer/production artist and a young/mid level designer. Desperately looking for new voices. Flex model (3 days wherever, 2 in office). Cool brands. Let me know.
I’m currently in tech sales, but don’t necessarily feel like I want to be a career sales guy. What’s the best areas I could transition to? Consulting, marketing? I’m just wondering…

What would it take to go directly from Big 4 to MBB without an MBA? What factors, besides a referral, would be at play to successfully transition?
What can I do get into MBB down the road? I'll be going back for an MBA but it won't be H/S/W, either UVA or U-Michigan. I'm in Technology consulting and have zero actual strategy experience
Deloitte 🐟 - how do you like your diversity and inclusion initiative. I heard a Deloitte partner give a lecture yesterday, and it sounds like you guys have some good things happening? Is that true?
