Can anyone tell me what the salary range is for Monitor Deloitte senior consultants in the UAE? Also I have a SC offer from PwC healthcare (not strategy &) and currently also interviewing with Monitor so according to you all which of the two is better across WLB, growth, culture, quality? Thanks!
Hi Fishes
A bit off topic but relevant.
Did anyone hear abt TekFog & Persistent Systems Limited ? Did they develop it ? What's going on ? I wanted to apply (location preference) but am worried now if company is into these sort of unethical activities even more so if they don't even know about it.
Does anyone has any insights into it beyond the company blog post claiming they are not involved. Also how is the work culture there, are these sort things even believable for such company ?

Love it. I work 8 hours with a 1 hour lunch, control my schedule and Fridays afternoons are a wash. I rarely work evenings or weekends (maybe once a quarter) and if ever I do, it's self mandated to get ahead or get something done in anticipation of a personal interruption next week (Dr appt, flight, family obligation, etc). In consulting I pulled many many 80+ hour weeks (+16 hours flight time) and all nighters between bad project leadership and PRDs. 😭. Now I get 8 hours of sleep and an hour on the Peloton each morning, I'm so glad the killer migraines are gone 🥳. Now I own my own vertical with my own Engg team too and call all the shots unlike consulting where I had less ownership. Great supportive team and work culture. I genuinely like my boss and team mates and wouldn't mind being their friend of I met them on the street instead. Less blame culture, less stress and less unpredictability. Better friendships, more commradary, more fun work moments in the day (we have Nurf guns at our desks 😝). Window seat desk instead of a client's broom closet. Company sponsored meals, gym and yoga at lunch, among other events and happy hours. Table tennis too. My weekly cross country commute is now a 30 min drive each way, meaning I get my Sundays back! WFH one day a week pre-pandemic. I'm getting paid 65% more for half the hours and 10x the joy. I occasionally miss the travel perks since I was platinum everywhere, but mostly I miss Deloitte University and nothing else.
I'm VP of Corp Dev at a PE-backed company.
It is amazing. I'm so happy I left consulting.
I was grabbing some takeaway with my wife last night and there were some dudes getting their food and shuffling back to the office.
I got flashbacks to those days and how I thought it normal to work from morning straight through to 11pm every night and stress over absolutely every email, pls call my mobile, angry PPMD feedback, etc.
People who haven't seen me in a year or so tell me how much happier and relaxed I look.

I’m very new so I ll let you know when I figure it out. But essentially it’s a ton of fire fighting when something goes wrong, overall platform health and providing the client a path to best practices (sometimes the TAM knows or has the Ability to ask SMEs within the org)
