Just use a Roomba. It’s way easier.
Pro
My roomba sucks and misses a lot of spots
Agree with the Roomba, I have a dog and its been a lifesaver
What kind of dog? I have two golden retrievers and it’s a disaster every day

I vacuum my hardwood floors because it works. I use a steam mop too lol
I asked the hw guy about the bona cleaners which are made for hw floor.
He said same thing about humidity and wood. Keep them at constant humidity not too much nor too little.
Which makes sense to me. That's why it creaks more in the winter when the air is very dry. We have a house humidifier that helps a bit. But if it works and no issue that should be fine there's different types of wood that rewxt differently.
We use a Dyson canister with the floor attachment so no hard plastic rollers. I actually hold the canister and walk around with it so it gets a luytrle heavy at times. But the cordless ones should work well unless you have a lot of he floor.
I'm also concerned about the push vacuums and the wheels and harsh brush. The floor attachment has been awesome.and so much easier than push vacuums.
What else are you supposed to do? Sweeping just kicks up dust and swiffering doesn't get everything. You vacuum first to get the big stuff the mop
Exactly. Who sweeps these days?!
Chief
Vacuum my hardwood floors once a week. Get over it OP, it’s 10 min of noise
Use a broom, and then a bucket & a mop! Upstairs neighbors are driving ME insane

Dust buster yo
So do something totally inefficient to appease people who want a luxury lifestyle on a beer budget? Sweeping takes longer, leaves dirt on the floor, spreads dust into the air and is physically more laborious. How do you know they don't have a disability that makes it difficult to sweep? Stop judging them because of their commitment to efficient cleanliness
Pro
You’ll survive OP it’s 30mins of your day. Perhaps live on the top floor if you’re so bothered by sound. No one sweeps nowadays

Hey I'm lazy and I hate sweeping so I'll roll my wheels as much as I want. And stomp at 4am.
Jk on the stomping.
