Nothing, confirmed my belief they weren’t doing anything.
So much admin work.
Firefighting on steroids. Also Manager title = partners and directors are less understanding/chill with you. No more SA safety net.
Hours and hours to staff a project, then restaff the project, then to fight to keep staffing mid project, to explain hour variances on the project, to deal with whiny people who wanted on your project and knew the commitments/sacrifices and agreed to them, only to get halfway in and decide "they didnt understand the commitment" , forecasting staffing for the next 6 months the project, and forecasting staff utilization for the next six months overall, and weekly meetings to talk about why we spent to much time talking about staffing.
Nothing. You should basically be doing Manager level work in your final year as a Senior. Maybe you will start getting more heavily involved in BD work. Depending on what you were doing as Senior.
