Hi anyone here wants referral to PwC?

Big 4 by far, I used to work at a top 15 firm for 3 years
The exposure and learning is way better
The technology resources makes your life easier
The compensation is better, the base comp can be similar but the bonuses are much bigger
The name on your resume carries a lot of weight in industry
Lastly the hours are not that much different, I can’t think of any advantage mid tiers have
DM me for a referral to Deloitte or with any questions about a mid tier to Big 4 transition
Mid Tier but I jumped from Big 4 to Mid Tier as a manager. I couldn't handle the stress at Big 4 any longer, my mental health was suffering. Feel better at Mid Tier and more appeciated. I am more technical than any of the other managers at the firm but that skillset came from being exposed to more at Big 4. I would say think about what you want out of your career, not just now but 5-10 years down the road. I felt like I would be more valued at the mid tier due to my skillset and working with private clients is a lot less stressful. I also felt like there wouldn't be a business case for me at the Big 4 office I was working at.
I should add that my firm is smaller than OPs firm and my office doesn't have many off year-end clients. I don't work on EBP. That keeps the hours in check outside of busy season
DM me if you are interested in KPMG. I’d be happy to refer you and provide any insight
Big 4. I worked at Moss Adams and Grant Thornton and I can tell you that the hours aren’t much better if at all at the mid market firms. The benefits are much worse. And don’t get me started with the tools. The tools at big 4 are hands down better.
If interested in Deloitte, DM me for a referral.
Worked at largest Big 4, transitioned to rsm as young partner. Love the differences. I've always enjoyed middle market audits Vs my f500 clients. I was happy to no longer have to transfer every 5 years due to pcaob rotation requirements.
I miss some of the technology, but I love the enhanced personal relationships. I miss the brand and client recognition among family and friends.
I make slightly less, but I work a LOT less, so I get to see my kids a lot more.
So one's not better - but RSM IS BETTER FOR ME.
