People who workout on the weekends in the morning: why do you prefer working out in the morning over the afternoon?

The earlier I get my weekend workout in, the sooner I can start drinking 😂

As long as I get the workout in, I’m happy! But am....frees up the rest of your day and you aren’t thinking about getting a workout in. Afternoon, you can get a few feeds (meals) in prior to.

At my gym, you either go first thing - 8 AM or mid afternoon ( say 3). 930 to 2 is way too crowded with amateurs and people who are there to socialize.

Idk why referring to meals as feeds got my hackles up so much

AM, otherwise it feels like it takes up too much of my day for some reason. It’s also easier to get in the way of any plans if i decide to do it in the PM

I've always had to workout first thing in the morning or I just wouldn't do it. My favorite time to go is at like 6am on weekends before the kids are up. I suck at taking "me time" so since I've had kids I always want to go while everyone is asleep. I also find that when I workout first thing I eat less throughout the day.

Get it over with and get on with my weekend!

Might hurl if I cram avocado toast before running.

No masks needed at 5 am when I go!! 😷😃

If you do it earlier as opposed to later I think it keeps your metabolism higher throughout the day which apparently is a good thing

I like to work out on an empty stomach (eg fasted cardio). The sooner I work out, the sooner I can eat! 😋

Up and at it.... no excuses.... I ran six miles this morning at 6 am.... had the road to myself .... no other runners.... no cars.... family still sound asleep when I got back.... GREAT way to start a weekend.

Pretty much all of the above plus I hate taking 2 showers. But mostly because my workout is running and it either gets too hot or too “busy” with cars and people in the afternoon/evening

I went to a physical exam, the doctor suggested a bunch of tests. I said I only want to do preventative ones. He said one diagnostic test is about $300, so I agreed to take it. Because of this one diagnostic test, everything is billed as diagnostic. I got 2k medical bills for the visit, preventative tests and the aforementioned test. Is there anything I can do? I talked to insurance and doctor but they wont budge.
