I’m actually wholly surprised when people are impressed that I work at Deloitte. This was a super easy job to get, most people here are majorly unimpressive and it’s altogether average. Has anyone done a 2-hr roundtrip daily commute for years? Unfortunately in this situation due to location of spouse’s job -it’s fairly rural and that area doesn’t have the same level of education (kid is about to start K), diversity, convenience, jobs opps me, stuff to do or parks as our current city has. Switching jobs is not an option for him unfortunately. I do feel very guilty about the long commute for him though.
