Hi Team,
I have a offer from Virtusa company for 6 month contract Data engineer role in Bristol UK location.
They said the contract will keep upgrade.
And salary is 280 GBP/Day .
Did anyone here working from London/UK location or working in London from Virtusa.
Please share your experience in terms of cost of living and expenses.Virtusa Wipro Newco

When it comes to tax deduction and salary at hand, lot of other things come into picture.. For example in Nagarro.. i know that from flexi basket - one can make certain components viz Fuel , phone, driver sal etc as non taxable and so tax will be less..
Similarly some existing employees can also help a person understand what percentage of variable one can expect. It is not basically tax deduction calculation but also analysis of pros and cons of salary at large.
Also I think person's earning is irrelevant for this post
I will strongly disagree.
It is better to compare between different offers through discussion with people then to wait for joining the company and then to discover something strangely wrong with your salary structure. Also if through fellow mates you are aware of the bottleneck of your CTC , you will be able to ask relevant questions in such sessions.
Exactly ! Plus it is simple math , simpler than writing thousands of lines of code and test cases ๐
Tax calculation seekhna? Nahi bhai, CTC daalke showoff karna ho to bol๐๐๐. And these folks are not even freshers. Working in industry since quite sometime
So by your logic that means if a person can't calculate their inhand salary they are not worth the 20lpa or 30lpa? ๐๐๐ Comon...
No, i didn't mean that entirely. People with few years of industry experience should do this basic stuff rather than asking strangers here. As if all are CAs sitting here.

Simply Funda to calculate tax is.
@
1) Remove all the pf and vpf and all tax saving amount from CTC.
2) remove the variable components which you will get quarterly.
3) divided the total amount by 100 *(100 - tax slab( whatever it is 5-10-15-20-25-30)) ( var total = 100-30= 7
I.e : 1500000/100 = 15000*30 = total in hand. Excluding variable you can add it in quarter or yearly
4 ) for tax calculation you need to add the variable you get anually or quarterly . And fallow the same process.
