PERM approved, next will file I140/I485 with premium processing. Do I have to be in the country when those forms are submitted or what are the travel limitations?

You have to be in the country to file. What visa do you currently have

I am on L1A and got these instructions from PwC immigration team, fyi my I140 is not approved, since it’s EB1, AOS can be filed in parallel

You do need to be in the US when they file the I485 so wait until you have the L1A in hand. From Fragomen: “applicants who file an I-485 applications for adjustment of status to permanent resident, are required to be physically present when the application is receipted at the USCIS. This is typically a 2-3 business day process and we work around your travel plans when the time comes to submit” Also I’m not aware they do premium processing for EB1C unless that changed in the last month. And as always account for variable change the possibility that new travel restrictions come in because of the new variant. Best of luck tho!

Is it normal for you to ever be “ghosted” by your administration? I feel like I’m constantly emailing, calling, texting, and meeting with them and nothing gets done. As soon as I leave their office, I’m ignored. If I email/text them a question or request, I’m ignored unless it benefits them. This is at a district where I travel between 3 schools and have 3 principals. They’re all like this and communication is especially important since I have to travel.

First year in a v10 corporate group. Wondering if billable hour “hoarding” is a thing? As in, my group is busy, there’s seemingly lots of work to go around, and I’ve only gotten positive feedback so far, but this month I’ve gotten relatively few assignments. Wondering if that could be related to seniors/mids wanting to hit billable targets for themselves?

I have a supervisor who nitpicks things the way you would for an intern or a junior and I’m trying to navigate. I had a positive 6 month review recently so I think she sees it as constructive rather than cutting me down. For example, she will ask me to attend a meeting in her stead or write an email for her and she will completely edit my notes or my email not spelling errors or anything but completely reformatting and there’s no real pattern to the way she does it so I’m not learning.
