Mamas - what are the most creative solutions to schooling you have seen for next year as alternatives? Is there something your school districts are doing that you think is creative and unique? Are you hiring teachers and creating pods? Renting space? I have twins entering kindergarten. I trying to find them a bridge program to act as a kindergarten but also exploring other options. Hi, Consulting Moms! I need advice - I am leaving industry to return to consulting. I have offers from KPMG and Deloitte, and we are looking to start a family ASAP (we have been actively trying and I have a feeling it would be just my luck to start a new job and find out I’m pregnant). Would love your insight around personal experience with hours per week, work-life balance, culture, etc. Offers are same level/role/scope (Change Management / Transformation / Human Capital) and same salary. TY!

Just started my first post-college job, based in nyc: assuming the office doesn’t open for the next 12+ months, should I continue wfh at my parents house in the middle of nowhere and save $30k over the course of the year (but basically throw away a year of my social life), or move to nyc in a few months w some roommate friends? How’s the city looking nowadays?

Can anyone tell me how much time it usually takes for next step and all. Thanks in advance

Interview feedback: my answers weren’t concrete enough. I answered questions by sharing my work process, then sharing an example from prior projects and in the example I included how I prepare, who I involve, what that looks like day to day, types of required meetings and what is discussed, how I make decisions, etc. I’m looking for tips on how I can address this feedback? I have fulfilled the responsibilities of the role I applied for so I have the experience. Just need to frame it right.

First year Paralegal here - graduated from a small liberal arts school and have been working in the corporate practice at a well ranked firm. The majority of my experience has been working in private funds, financings, some M&A, and limited Real Estate work. I think I enjoy the idea of a few years in big law after law school to pay off loans (undergrad+law school), but am not sold b/c I have been remote since I started in January and rarely get to interact live with deal teams. How can I tell?

Does anybody do a “work uniform” in the office? I’m new in an in-house role at a company that has dress for your day (primarily jeans), and I’m thinking about doing that when we go back (1-2 days a week). I need to buy new clothes post-covid anyways. I’m thinking some casual, but quality, plain black dresses that I can wear a sweater, jacket, blazer (when necessary), shirt, etc. over. Could dress up or down with shoes. Thoughts?
