Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

I became much more interested in science, research, and data than simply working 1-1 with a client. I am motivated by learning new skills, being analytical, and problem something. Wanted to be involved with something on a larger basis, thus pivoting to Optum and getting my MBA I love educating and consulting but fell out of interest for being responsible for my patients' circumstances when they would not take ownership of their own life choices. Profession is going nowhere. No growth or development. Salary does not justify the education we go through. Insurance keeps reducing reimbursement which means seeing more people in a day. No pay increases; many of my colleagues were faced with pay cuts. We are highly educated clinicians but unfortunately are only seen as personal trainers or giving massages.
I am a DPT +MBA and I vouch for ZS :).
Sounds like my story up there^
You could work remote at almost any job within all of UHG (UHG, UHC, Optum)…and unless you actually want to travel, you could do it all without really going anywhere. There are a ton of strategy teams across the brands developing different products & programs based on analytics and member outcomes…I think it’s more common than not at any payer that you have these strategy teams across different lines of business 🤷🏻♂️
Join OAS - Optum Advisory Services. It’s their consulting leg and can work remote. I know recruiters there. DM.
DM me- your profile is intriguing and perhaps we have a fit.
Where do you work? I am also have a DPT and MBA!
ZS just opened an office in triangle park area.
What’s your role at Optum?
OP: would you recommend an undergraduate interested in PT to pursue the profession or has it become a mess in the broader “healthcare” system? Are you open to sharing your motivation for professionally pivoting?

I'm actually located near Raleigh, NC. Unfortunately, wrong coast. Additionally, don't have intentions of returning to direct patient facing treatment.
Got it.
Additionally have SQL, Visio, EPIC, and MS Project experience. Am a beast with Excel and Power Point. Love to work, willing to go above and beyond, and open to travel.
Hi Op, my wife is also a PT with Dpt and wants to switch career. Do you mind if she connects with you for some insights on how you have done it or best way to move forward for her? I’d appreciate your help. Thanks
