I’m a PTA near Syracuse and I only make $18/hr in outpatient and I feel like I’m getting ridiculously underpaid 😂
Y’all should pivot to consulting and easily bring in $150k TC.
I work in Utah as a Per Diem employee and get paid $37/hour at an outpatient clinic. I am also looking for something different as my employer is “getting rid” of per diem employees so they don’t have to pay us or offer benefits.
AZ Phoenix 91k 4 years acute setting.
Sounds like you're both being underpaid. I'm in NJ, but from what I understand the industry average is around $80-$90k. (I'm making $83k)
It’s a state thing. New York has the second the second lowest insurance reimbursement rate for PT in the US. But I still feel like I’m getting royally screwed
I don't make it yet but in the PNW I know physical therapists who make like 92k-94k easy. Working for a university.
My husband is been a home health PT in Illinois and been getting $110k a year. He’s patient load range from 6-8 a day
I am a PTA in Puyallup, WA. I make 28/hr in out patient ortho.
Yeah, with reimbursement getting worse and worse I don’t see the life of a PTA being sustainable with the current economy.
I work in home heath PT 95-105k/yr, Virginia and texas
I’m a PTA in New Orleans, LA. I’ve worked in Acute and Home Health. I’ve currently been with the same Home Health company for about 7 years now. I get paid $40 per visit. My patient load varies from 5-8 per day.
