Hire a nurse who does this stuff on the side. My firm pays a nurse who reviews all the medical records and creates an "injury memo" highlighting all the injuries and treatment. Looks like you might not have your own firm but maybe bring this to the higher ups. Saves A TON of time

funny

I made a list of injuries/meds and spent some time talking to my med school/health professionals friends about it to get a comfortable understanding of it.

But it took me about 6 months of just doing BPs to get familiar. And hopefully you don’t have a senior atty who thinks you are also a medical student.

Sorry! I found templates and a good para helps. But my senior attorney just threw me into the fire and watched...

Hi all,

I just got a job with Delta airlines and I had an accomodation request to work remotely as I am Immunocompromised. I provided all the neccesary documents to back up my request and letters and documents from my Dr. aswell. My request was denied because the team said they wanted me to have face time and one on one interactions with people from other team (which defeats the purpose of my request) because I have to limit those interactions to reduce the risk of infection. What do I do?

i’m an LNA/CNA making 16.50/hr, where i live that’s a lot for my position. i just started at this new job about 2 months ago and still barely making enough to afford all my bills. i’ve been thinking of doing travel/ contract with MAS medical staffing. does anyone have an opinion on them or any other travel agency?

I don’t know how to approach work during this time. I think I can get by, but I’m definitely not 100%. Should I talk to my boss about it? My team is close-knit and comfortable around each other, but I don’t know if it’s “appropriate.” What would you do?

Is anyone on a low dose of Adderall or a similar stimulant, and do you find it helpful/effective?

When I was diagnosed (at 20 yo) I started on Adderall XR and my psychiatrist essentially took a “keep upping the dose until you feel side effects” approach, even though I still saw some benefits at a lower dose. I’m currently unmedicated and am somewhat hesitant to restart, but feel I could see some benefit and better stability with the help of medication.

I had a miscarriage on Tuesday, my first. I didn’t even know I was pregnant. The Dr. was just as baffled by the timing, but here I am. My head is trying to be practical, but my hormones are raging. Our baby is due soon so we’ve made the decision that we will only have visits from vaccinated family members (not realizing it would be an issue) only to find out that my Dad will never be getting vaccinated, planned to lie about it AND asked other family members lie to us about his vaccination status too… when we found out and asked him about it, he started to FREAK out. Now I’m questioning if we’re being unreasonable… how have you guys been handling unvaccinated people meeting your newborns??

I have drank 49 out of the last 90 days. Typically two glasses of red wine at night. Is this an issue? I do want to lower my drinking but have been struggling with doing so honestly.

My firm has a collections budget (80% of your billable rate x 1850 hours) and an hourly budget that must be met in order to be eligible for a bonus. The firm cares very little about originations and will reward someone for making their collections over someone who brings in new work. I missed my collection budget due to some odd timing with a client, but originated more than all my peers so no bonus for me. I’ve been at this same mid level firm for 9 years and it’s all I know. Is this normal??
