I don’t mind using a slicer, but I can’t figure out how to make a pivot table calculated item that can take an input from outside the table itself

Don’t think you can use an input from outside the table. Why not use logic statement to add a column to your data set and incorporate into pivot that way?

I am thinking of leaving my stable full time job for a contract position (ongoing with no time frame) for a bigger raise (making an exra $20/hour) with a large tech company. I'll still get benefits through Aquent so it's not a huge loss. It just feels risky in terms of being a contractor and the potential for it to end at anytime. Seems like a good opportunity though to get my foot in the door and potentially apply for full time jobs later on

Would it be tacky of me for when I put my 2 weeks notice to take PTO on the last week?

Have you felt guilty before giving notice?

Lateral hire here. Starting a new job soon and as part of my offer I need to sit for the next bar. I want to start on the right foot and be as available as possible but also study for the bar. How would you handle? Should I gently remind partners I’m sitting for the July bar or just not say anything? Side note - I’m using this in between time to study as much as a can but I’m nervous about juggling both responsibilities

Hello, folks! I wonder if you have any advice/info for a person who is looking for an "investment associate" role in Dubai. I have a financial audit background (4 years Big-4), 1,5 year in deal advisory (half year financial due diligence department, 1 year valuation department). I have experience in TMT, retail, Energy and Utility and other industries. Currently I'm living in Eastern Europe. What is considered to be normal in relation to WBL, compensations in Dubai for such role or similar?

This is my first year teaching and somethings I have to calm myself down because all I wanna do is cuss these little kids the "f" out, but I can't! Hope 'm not the only one struggling with this.
