Go to Kansas City, go to Joe's BBQ, Arthur Bryant's BBQ, Royals games are fun, Sporting KC if you're into soccer, if you like coffee The Roasterie it does have good coffee and a cool tour, world war 1 museum if you are into history, night life in various neighborhoods (plaza, Westport, downtown, brookside, west bottoms, cross roads).

EY2 nailed it. Boulevard Brewery also has a good tour and beer hall. Westport is by far the best bar district if you want to rage. Joe's KC is the best BBQ followed by Jack Stack, Q39, and Char Bar (great BBQ brunch and outside bar area). McCoys is another really good Westport brunch spot.

Up Down in Kansas city is actually pretty fun, and there's a bbq place that's literally in a gas station and the food is so good the line is out the door
